Game Changers understands that your privacy is very important, and respects the privacy of individuals. This policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.
There are a number of ways that you can access, view, participate and interact with Game Changers, which include (but are not limited to):
a) customer newsletters and EDMs;
b) registering to participate and contribute to our digital platform;
c) online competitions;
d) commenting on our content;
e) contributing to online forums;
f) promotions and marketing;
g) through third party login platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter;

The services listed above and other activities detailed generally on Game Changers’ website from time to time (available at www.thecarousel.com) are, altogether, The Carousel’s “Functions and Activities”.
When you share information with Game Changers, for example, by commenting on posts, creating an account or entering an online competition, we can make these Functions and Activities even better. This also allows third parties and brands who are also involved in our Functions and Activities to improve their products. We do not provide your personal information to third parties unless you have agreed for us to do so.

Game Changers may disclose personal information to overseas recipients, this is likely where Game Changers’ related parties and promotional partners have overseas subsidiaries or an individual uses a third party platform such as Facebook connect to use Game Changers’ services, and the servers for that platform are not located in Australia.
8. Transborder data flows
Generally, Game Changers’ will not disclose personal information to an overseas entity without having obtained an individual’s consent. In obtaining this consent Game Changers will ensure that users are made aware that the Australian privacy law or a law providing for similar privacy protections may not apply to an overseas entity’s use of such personal information.

Game Changers takes all reasonable steps to protect personal information it holds from loss, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure, interference or other misuse. Game Changers will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information it holds if it is no longer needed for Game Changers’ Functions and Activities.

If Game Changers holds any sensitive personal information, that information will only be used and disclosed by Game Changers for the purpose Game Changers will explain this.

A person may request access to personal information that Game Changers holds about them from Game Changers. Game Changers will process such requests within a reasonable time and in the manner, if any, requested. If Game Changers denies an access request, it will provide reasons for doing so.
